The Deputy Administrator of Elections Job pays $83,000.00 plus

Our Knox County tax dollars are being wasted by the Knox County Election Administrator Greg Mackay. He has created the position that he gave to the runner-up for Administrator and is paying him $83,000.00. Mackay NEVER had a Deputy before. Where is this $83,000.00 coming from? Did they eliminate 4 office positions to fund this one job? If this money was not approved by County Commission. It needs to be. All five of the Election Administrators should be replaced for allowing Mackay to do this.

Here is the job posting as provided by Ray H. Jenkins, Knox County Republican Party Chairman through a comment of the first Brian’s Blog post on this subject. It is interesting to note that the Deputy Administrator required a BS degree. But the Administrator only required a GED.

Also, for the record it seemed in yesterday’s announcement that they mentioned every job and award Frith has ever performed or received. They left out that right out of high school that he was a gopher employee for Sandra Clark at the Halls News, a weekly community newspaper that has become a five community newspaper, now owned by Bruce Hartmann and Jack McElroy.

Job posting for Deputy Admin. said salary is $83K+. . .

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must possess a valid Tennessee Driver’s License.

  1. How in the world does this job require an $83,711.13 salary? I would like to see an explanation of that.

I didn't know Frith had an experience in election administration. I would like to know what was used for that experience.

  3. Brian –

It's hard to believe that it takes 2 people to run an office that poorly – and at a cumulative salary of nearly $200,000.00, to boot!

And Anonymous has a point – even with the position Mackay invented just for Frith, he doesn't seem to be qualified!

Only in the corrupt world of Knox County would something like this be allowed to stand.

    Cheers,

    Rob

Wow, who knew that rubbing Sandra Clark's feet could pay off so well.

This punk is the worst. Another pet who has no ability, experience, or honesty.

Mackay just spiked the ball in the end zone. How stupid do Knox Gopers feel now.
