Remember, the Duncan Family BBQ? It was the must be at event, an event that is equally as popular and a must attend is TN State Senator Ken Yager’s Annual Chili Supper. $5 gets you a bowl of chili, a hotdog, drink and dessert. The money raised is given to a non profit. This year the non profit recipient is United Way.
The event is held at the Roane State Community College Student Center in Harriman, TN. TN State Rep. Kent Calfee said that eventually the event may have to move to Thompson Boling Arena. Calfee was joking, but the crowds every year are getting bigger and bigger.
