I get blamed for a lot of things, when candidates appear on my site, it is always on their disclosures as paid advertisements. BUT, I don’t perform any influence peddling (otherwise known as government consulting) I leave that up to the Strategy companies.
This morning, I get a screenshot of Cynthia Moxley’s Facebook post. She is a principal of Moxley-Carmichael, they represent Knox News Sentinel. University of Tennessee and especially KUB. You know KUB that added a fifth utility to it’s company. Back in 2015, I dug into KUB’s payments for Moxley and they had been paid more than a million dollars, here.
The City of Knoxville appoint the members of the KUB Board and Council Members have a lot of influence on who serves on the KUB board.
But now the post is a spiking of the ball for the Vice Mayor’s primary win! Is this seem reasonable and honorable to a reasonable man?
Oh and Moxley Carmichael is the creator of an online #internetblogger site, that is not mine, is not Compass, is not Knox Focus, is not Knox Views.
