Judge Kyle Hixson is one of four for Governor Bill Lee to Consider for Court of Criminal Appeals

The Eastern District of Tennessee’s Court of Criminal Appeals have two vacancies for the Governor to appoint, Justice Thomas and Justice Ogle are not going to pursue the Retention Election. The Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments interviewed 7 applicants today. Two from Knox County. Criminal Court Judge Kyle Hixson and Knox County Magistrate Ray Hal Jenkins. In addition other candidates were Andrew Freiberg, Mark A. Fulks, Thomas Greenholtz, Tracy Jenkins and Jay Arthur Perry

The four that the Council advanced to Governor Bill Lee are Andrew Freiberg, Thomas Goodholtz, Kyle Hixson and Tracy Jenkins.
