Breaking News: Knox Schools Southwest School Property is Dead Center Farragut

On Monday night October 1 for Knox County School Board work session and Wednesday night October 3rd, the Knox County School Board will vote to purchase 41 acres in the center of Farragut for a Southwest School solution. This property borders Boring Road and immediately behind the Ingles Shopping Center.

It is far and away from the community they need to serve with a new Elementary and/or Middle School. The contract Knox County School Board will vote on is 41 acres for $4,890,500.00, the property is owned by local developer Doug Horne and his wife Brenda.
