Town of Farragut and Knox County’s Fifth District Does Have Double Poles

#10 Knox County Commissioner at Large went around the county taking pictures of double utility poles. He said there were none in the Fifth District and/or the Town of Farragut. He said in part because the Town of Farragut doesn’t allow it.

Well let’s look around the Fifth Commission District. South Northshore Drive in Choto Area is not in Town of Farragut. Boyd Station Road, Turkey Creek Road, Jamestowne Blvd., Campbell Station Road all in Town of Farragut.

Lenoir City Utility Board has provided my electric since 1992, they are fabulous. First Utility District has provided my water and sewer since 1992, they are the best. KUB provides my Natural Gas service since 1992 and are wonderful.

All the utilities are governed by their boards with oversight by The State of Tennessee Comptroller. They do not need elected bodies of Commissioners, Council Members, Aldermen(women) or Bureaucrats telling them how to do their job.

Not all utility poles are the same, What pole looks dangerous to you may be the strongest pole on the Boulevard.
