Knoxville City Council was AWFUL to Member Parker Tonight

Tonight, Knoxville City Council was discussing creating a Sports Authority for a new baseball stadium Downtown. Council member Amelia Parker said that she had an hour worth of questions. After a period of time, Mayor Indya Kincannon interrupted Parker and pointed out that council members should go in turns of asking questions, Parker said okay, as long as you come back to me. Kincannon then turns to Janet Testerman and Testerman calls for the question. All members voted for the question except for Parker and Lauren Rider.

THIS WAS DISGRACEFUL, is similar to Larsen Jay trying to adjourn a Commission meeting. The difference is all County Commissioners did NOT adjourn. However, all Council except Ryder voted to shut Parker down.

They have tried to shut Parker down before. I have stuck up for Amelia’s rights to Seema before.

The city council meeting that bankrupted Knoxville. The baseball stadium would have bankrupted Knoxville just fine but they added $100 million in reparations to black people who lost their homes in urban renewal in the 1960’s and 1970’s. A completely racist move since 30% of the people of lost their homes were white and will get no reparations.

Knoxville is now both stupid and racist.
