Senator Hagerty Hires Jim Henry to Run Statewide Operations

United States Senator Bill Hagerty has hired former Haslam Deputy Governor Jim Henry to run his statewide operation. Both are good guys. Interesting oddities that the same stream media may not have picked up on. Henry challenged former Rep. Van Hillary in the Republican Primary for Governor in the early 2000’s. Hillary won the primary, then lost to Democrat Governor Phil Bredesen.

Hillary is Chief of Staff to United States Congressman John Rose from TN’s Sixth District who just completed his first term and is beginning his second term. Hillary, I assume spends time back and forth between Washington and Nashville. Henry has told media that he will remain mostly in Tennessee.

An additional oddity is Henry’s $500 campaign contribution in late July 2020 (7/24/2020 to be exact) to Rep. Kent Calfee‘s opponent in their home county of Roane. Henry a former Kingston mayor and Calfee a longtime Roane County Commissioner, before becoming State Representative in 2012.

I have always known them both to be friends of each other and friends of mine as well. Calfee garnered more that 65% or 6,035 votes to his opponent a former Roane County Commissioner and former 911 Director for Roane County 34.4% or 3,170 votes all the while Calfee successfully beat COVID.

Hagerty obviously worked with both Henry when Hagerty was Commissioner of Economic and Community Development for TN Governor Bill Haslam and also worked with Calfee as State Representative.

Hagerty likely doesn’t know about the Henry campaign contribution until now, if he sees this post. Not that it matters, as usual #TheMegaBullhornofTruth giving you more than the main stream media knows or researches.
