Poor Ole Civil Right Violator Victor Ashe, He Can’t Help It, He Gets So Much Wrong

Former Knoxville Mayor Victor Ashe he writes a weakly, I mean weekly column for the daily paper. As Mayor he was found by a court of law of having violated the Civil Rights of several Knoxville Firefighters.

But Joel Christopher, the Publisher of the daily paper needs content for the daily paper that they wrap all the grocery store ads in, that is where Ashe is printed.

First, let’s knock out his content that was so bad. In May I reported about Knoxville Assistant District Attorney Judd Davis running for General Sessions Judge Division II. On Friday, I reported that Knox County Magistrate Ray Jenkins has joined that race, Ole Victor missed that one. He did report about Franklin Ammons, an Associate Attorney with Criminal Defense Attorney GREG Issacs. Which is cool, but family friendships and all, Ammons was an easy catch for ole Victor.

However, Victor reports today that Bud Armstrong is considering the same seat as Davis, Jenkins and Ammons. WRONG Victor!

I reported last night that Bud is running for Chancellor Division II.

NOW, Ole Victor really doesn’t like Knox County Republican Party Chair Daniel Herrera. Ashe might like Herrera less than he did Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero and Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon. Ashe apparently likes Matt Shears, the Knoxville Democrat Chair, a reasonable man could conclude after reading his column.

The one thing Herrera can NOT do is grow the Republican Party by annexing people. You know the way that Mayor Ashe grew the Knoxville revenue base.

Anyway, I did reach out and ask Herrera if he would like to respond to the verbal vomit, Ole Victor pounded out on a keyboard that Joel Christopher used some ink from a barrel to print on former trees.

Herrera said, “I don’t consider the fact that I started my own business right out law school, specifically a law firm that has grown since day one, as an employment “burden.””

“I don’t consider living the American dream a burden at all – it’s a blessing, including the struggle and all that comes with it.”

“The Republican Party is strong and will become stronger. We’re not going away.”

Until Ole Civil Right Violator Ashe writes again, let’s move on to more productive subject matter.
