State of Tennessee Will Allow Remote Learning Waivers for K-12

Dr. Penny Schwinn Commissioner of Education for the Tennessee Department of Education has informed Directors of Education in all school districts of K-12 that waivers allowing remote instruction will be considered three times a day.

As the virus begins to greatly impact and effect our most vulnerable population, our children. The State Department of Education appropriately leads our public school districts.

    Finally doing something to protect our children!!! But there needs to be mask mandates and need to be informed of new cases daily!! Not have to wait a whole week to see that cases are dramatically increasing and parents should be able to decide to not let there kids go to school because of it being such a high risk!!!
