Andrew Roberto Get Out the Vote, Meet the Incumbents on the Eve of Early Voting

Tonight on the eve of Early Voting the campaign of Andrew Roberto along with the Democrat Women’s Club had a Get Out the Vote event at Albright Grove Brewing Company on Sutherland Avenue. It was a Meet the Incumbents event, Roberto was joined by fellow candidates seeking re-election Tommy Smith, Lauren Rider, Vice Mayor Gwen McKenzie. Councilwoman Seema Singh had a previous engagement. Fifth District Councilman Charlie Thomas was present although he is not up for re-election this year.

Roberto was introduced by Rev. Harold Middlebrook, you can watch the talk here and below. Former Knoxville Mayors Randy Tyree and Dan Brown, Former Councilmen Finbarr Saunders, Duane Grieve and Larry Cox were present as was the former Mayor found guilty by a court of law for violating the civil rights of Knoxville firefighters was present. Former Knox County Election Administrators Greg Mackay and Cliff Rodgers were present.

Early Voting begins tomorrow and runs through October 28, the locations and time of early voting operations are here, Election Day is November 2.
