Justin Biggs Opponent……How to Verify?

A certain online news entity (not Compass and definitely not BrianHornback.com) has a story about Justin Biggs opponent. The writer of the story is taking Biggs opponents words for his successful work experience. Which I guess is “aight” but I like to use the Ronald Reagan, “trust but verify”. In regards to Biggs opponents New Jersey voting record, which I obtained through an open records request. Biggs opponent voted in the following elections in New Jersey.

11/4/2008 General Election

4/21/2009 State School Election

11/3/2009 State General Election

4/20/2010 State School Election

11/2/2010 State Election

4/27/2011 State Election 2010

11/6/2012 General

11/6/2013 General

In all eight of these elections, Biggs opponent did not cast a political party ballot.

According to the online story, Biggs opponent moved to East Tennessee in 2018, however according to the voter history on Biggs opponent with the Knox County Election Commission he voted twice in 2020. As owners of Knox County property, the following elections have occurred in Knox County since 2018.

May 1, 2018 County Primary

August 2, 2018 County General/State and Federal Primary

November 6, 2018 State and Federal General

March 3, 2020 Presidential and County Primary

August 6, 2020 County General/State and Federal Primary

November 3, 2020 Federal General

Biggs opponent only voted Republican in the March 3, 2020 Presidential and County Primary and in the November 3, 2020 Federal and State General. Biggs opponent no showed for the 2018 elections and the August 6, 2020 County General/State and Federal Primary.

The author of the favorable one sided story on Biggs opponent was an employee of the Trustees office during the short term of Former Trustee John Duncan (who had to resign as Trustee with several other employees after pleading guilty to a felony while as an elected official) I am unaware if the author of the online story has a positive, negative or neutral opinion of Biggs while they were both employees of the Trustee office at the same time. I just believe the author of the story should have revealed that he and Biggs were colleagues in the same office for a period of time.

We know Justin Biggs, We know his work in the Trustees office and as the Knox County Commissioner at Large Seat 11. The other candidate, we are suppose to accept the story without proof to back up the story. I do not buy with knowing for sure.
