Busler wants more agriculture land turned into development to Grow Government

Charlie (face turns bright red every time) Busler was on Tennessee This Week with Gene Patterson on WATE. He talked about taking property that generated $1,500 in property taxes and getting developers to develop it and produce $100,000 in property taxes. Busler obviously is unaware that the City of Knoxville has annexed most of those properties and the county receives a reduced amount to the county. But the bottom line is Busler does not discuss about keeping the reigns on county government spending. Instead he apparently want to grow government instead of raising property taxes, he wants us to pay it with our sales tax dollars by developing more commercial developments.

Busler ran on being a 42 year resident of Powell. On Election Day, the Powell community that knew him for 42 years only gave him a razor thin win. Busler only edged Bo Bennett by 20 votes on Election Day.

Busler talked on TN This Week about the relationship between school board and commission. Busler must have missed where Seventh District School Board Member Elect Patty Lou Bounds endorsed his opponent. Busler who turns blood red every time he is on tv or discussing his role and flip flop positions as a candidate and now Commissioner Elect should really get his bold pressure under control before he has to sit and listen to two passioned reasons to decide on land use issues and have to vote one way or the other.
