Hard Knox Independent Didn’t Make It, Others Make It Apparently by Cutting Corners

JJ Stambaugh, an all around great guy was interviewing me on April 9, 2010 when we got interrupted by a Brian Hornback hater (who also enjoys the designation of a 2007 Black Wednesday Knox County Commissioner, that got removed by the court)  JJ had to listened to the attack on me with every cuss word born by firefighters and fire truck drivers hanging out in the fire hall. While I hated JJ was subjected to it, I did appreciate this story in the April 10, 2010 Knoxville News Sentinel.

Now, while JJ’s newest venture Hard Knox Independent, an online publication can’t make it in Knoxville. The timing is interesting. I just received a message from a regular BrianHornback.Com reader. The message said that the Mercury and the Blank are printed on inferior paper with lousy ink. The reader went on to say it is personally more for the doggie dump. So, it’s either cut corners or stay in business. Stambaugh is a guy that is too conscience to cut corners.

A good idea would be for Patrick Birmingham to restructure the Shopper News and put JJ in charge.
