In this weeks Gannett Knox News Sentinel owned Shopper News former Knoxville Mayor Victor Ashe authored a column saying the folks in West Hills will likely get the sidewalk they are demanding. Ashe has written that it is a safety issue. Really? I am sure it is and was a safety issue when Ashe was Mayor as well. While I ain’t (am not) friendly with Mayor Rogero or she with me. I must ask, why must she and the current council fix a safety concern as dubbed by the former Mayor that did not do one damn thing to fix the issue when he was Mayor?
