Former County Commissioner Mark Harmon to Challenge Burchett in 2022

Congressman Tim Burchett has picked up his 2022 Democrat opponent, Former Knox County Commissioner, UT Faculty Member and Regular KnoxNews Columnist Mark Harmon.

Harmon represented and served the Knox County Second Commission District. Harmon has remained active in the Democrat Party activities and candidates since his term on Commission ended.

Harmon is no stranger to a run for Congress, in about 1998, he ran for a seat in Texas. Obviously, he has been in Knoxville for quite a few years. Harmon confirmed to me today at the Town of Farragut parade that his paperwork was sent in within the last week or so.

How does his sign identify a campaign Treasurer and Committee that submitted it’s final report in the paid for disclosure if they already submitted a final report in 2018? I’m all for repurposing signs and recycling. It seems that more often than not, rules and law do not apply to those on the looney left.
