How OUT of FOCUS Can One Publication Be?

There is a certain weekly publication in this river city that printed this quote by Knox County Merit System for Knox Sheriff Employees Council on Monday September 27, 2021. “We had a chairman on this council that ran for county commission before, and when he won, he stepped down from this tribunal,” Oster said. “And if I’m so honored to win, I will do the same” Watch the quote that Oster said, here, or below, all 41 seconds.

By the way, the one that Merit Council Chair Gina Oster speaks of is ME (Brian Hornback) I was NOT Chair of the Merit Council, I was the Alternate Member, who got to vote at every meeting, because one member never showed up. I was elected to the Knox County School Board, Fifth District, having bested the School Board Vice Chairman Tommy Prince, Tom Spangler‘s outside legal counsel Gary Prince‘s brother. I resigned before taking the School Board seat, only because I thought someone else should have the opportunity to serve. As I would be on the Knox County School Board, NOT the Knox County Commission.
