Carson Doesn’t Understand Adequate Public Notice

Karen Carson, Knox County School Board Chair on Friday sent notices to various government officials asking for a meeting at 9 a.m. on Monday. That is not even one qualified day of notice. Saturdays and Sundays do not count. Read here from an October 10, 2011 post about the County Commission taking up the advisory opinion and making it a rule on October 17, 2011.
