Johnson Voted NO because There Was NO Raise for Her?

First term Democrat State Representative Gloria Johnson and Republican Eddie Smith recently appeared on WATE’s Tennessee This Week. In the course of the discussion, Smith raised the issue of Johnson’s no vote on the states balanced budget. Johnson’s explanation for her no vote is that the “promised” pay raise for state workers and teachers was not included. WAIT, Johnson is a teacher in the Knox County School District when she is not being a legislator. So, her reason is that she voted no because there wasn’t more $$$ for her. Isn’t that a conflict?
